For someone who cooks on almost every night, most of my guilty pleasure foods are ones that require little to no cooking. Be it fast food, freezer food, junk food, etc. Stuff I absolutely love to eat but feel guilty about having because I’m not serving a home made meal.
1. Sonic. Simply that. While I was in Alabama we must have had Sonic twice a week. I don’t think they’ve got a bad item on their menu. I weep because the nearest one to me is somewhere in South Jersey - a day’s drive away.
2. Nutella. This stuff is heinously bad for you (caloriewise) but its so damn delicious. I love it on toast, on pancakes, in muffins but more often than not…I’m eating it straight from the jar with a spoon.
3. Krispy Kreme. Nobody makes a doughnut like Krispy Kreme. Another one of our Alabama staples that we managed to push to only once a month. Thank the heavens because I really would have weighed 1 ton by the time I got back. But they’re so delicious. Every time I visit a Krispy Kreme I wish that I could somehow run myself under the icing waterfall. I believe I hath devulged too much.
4. Totino’s Pizza Rolls. 2 minutes in the microwave and they’re a relatively tasty dinner. High brow, hells to the no. Yummy in an IM STARVING kind of way. Yes.
5. Graham Cracker Sandwiches. This is something my family always did and I continue to love. Take two honey graham crackers and spread one side with softened butter. Top with the other graham cracker and serve. This is endless comfort food for me and takes literally 2 seconds to make. However its probably going to clog my arteries faster than 1 & 3 put together.
So those are my Top 5 guilty pleasures. What are yours?

Sadly, mine are nearly the same as yours. LOL.
1. Krispy Kreme…baby Jesus made the “Hot…Now” sign Himself. I just know it.
2. Starbuck’s venti mochas…and they go with KK’s in a most delightful way.
3.Totino’s 3-Meat Pizza…yes, that $1.25 pizza is one of my favorites. It’s an illness.
4. Sonic…hello? Sonic effing rules.
5. Chips Ahoy cookies…clearly, I need to seek a sweet tooth extraction.

Kraft Mac and Cheese for sure.
When I’m pmsing, any type of chocolate.
And chips. I LOVE chips, therefore I try not to keep them in the house.
Oh and root beer. Even though it has no caffeine it has a lot of sugar. I stopped drinking any soda and immediately lost 5 pounds. But I LOVE root beer. Especially with pizza.

I hate the Sonic commercials, because there are no Sonics in Maryland! I get my fix when we head South for vacation, or head out to Rehoboth Beach for the day (there’s one in Delaware).
Pizza.
Popcorn mixed with Raisinettes.
Nerds Bumpy Jellybeans.
Vanilla Yogurt-Covered Cranberries - seriously, I can eat the entire bag in one sitting.
Diet Coke - I really shouldn’t drink as much as I do.

Note to self: Don’t read your responses first thing in the morning when you’re hungry.
Steph - You my dear, are a girl after my own heart. Chips ahoy are one of my favorites too.
D - Chips are one of my weaknesses too. and cheez doodles. and doritos. lol
Sheri - That kills me too! They play Sonic comercials here and I hate that!!! We keep talking about how if we opened a Sonic locally we’d be zillionaires. Also I too am hooked on Diet Coke.

My mom used to do the graham cracker sandwich but with frosting on the inside.
I can’t do it too much or I would be sitting in a corner eating my graham cracker sandwiches as the world rolled on by.
Also, I love smearing peanut butter on dark chocolate wedges.

SDM - Oh the peanut butter and dark chocolate thing. Definitely trying that the next time I have chocolate bars in the house!

Totally got to do it!
Or just eat the chocolate bar and take a bite of PB every now and then.
I do it that way too.

Can I just get my ticket straight to hell now? What about a graham cracker sandwich with Nutella?
I love to put Nutella on Crumpets, which you can get anywhere in the UK, but apparently only at places like Trader Joe’s on the east coast. I wouldn’t even try to find them in Texas, when I’m home.
So here’s my top 5:
1. Fried roundsteak with mashed potatoes and cream gravy, as made by me, or my momma. (I think I just cried a little.)
2. Whataburger - #5 Combo: Bacon Cheeseburger, made fresh to order, with fries, and that DAMN KETCHUP THAT IS MADE WITH CRACK (any Texan will tell you that their ketchup is somehow laced with some addictive substance that requires you to eat it even when you don’t normally like ketchup - I am a prime example)
3. Sonic extra long cheese coney and a diet cherry limeade. Oh God. I hate living on the east coast.
4. Potato and Egg breakfast tacos from Las Palapas at 2 o’clock in the morning. Mmmm.
5. Houlihan’s Stuffed Chicken. It’s stuffed with garlic and herb cream cheese, covered in panko crumbs, and then baked, and served with garlic mashed potatoes, onion strings, and fresh green and yellow beans.
Can I add a 6? Cus I definitely got one! Green & Black’s chocolate, any flavor.
I was just stopping by cus I’m going to make your creamy chicken bake thinger at some point this weekend, and also wanted to tell you that I finally started my own cooking blog - http://www.bluebonnetsandbrownies.com.
I think I somehow friended your journal from LJ along the way. But I couldn’t resist commenting on this post. And those Blueberry Muffins look incredible.

I love sonic too. Luckily for me, we’re getting some in August, so I won’t have to drive 2 hours when I get a craving. And believe me. I DO it.
I also like Graham Cracker sandwiches, but on one side I put peanut butter, and the other Nutella and put them together. Heaven.

Shannon - You’re so lucky! We’re taking a road trip next month and plan on hitting every Sonic we see on the way there.
I’ll have to try that with Graham Crackers, that sounds absolutely divine!
